Revealed during LEGO World Fair this past October, the statue is made from over 40,000 LEGO bricks, is 175cm tall and weighs over 50kg. The statue was sold on eBay for over $US5000 with all the profits going to the Ronald McDonald House Charity in The Netherlands.

Yeah I’m real excited for this game. I have been following trailers and blogs about it and it looks real good. But yeah like you said Carter I hope it takes a page/chapter out of Oblivions book, Oblivion is still one of the best games ever!

A sneaky possum just broke into my house to rob me of my food so I totally fed it a slice of bread. They are so silly, I’d like throw the bread to it and it would pretty much hit it in the face and it would still spend 30 seconds trying to find the bread with its nose they are like blind.

Read, read, read! Junglist has been axed in Good Game reshuffle! This is terrible I really hope that Good Game remains one of the best shows on TV. But I can’t see it happening without Junglist.

World of Goo turns one-year-old today, and 2D Boy celebrates by letting you buy the PC, Mac and Linux version of the game for whatever you think it’s worth — even a penny!

From now until October 19, visitors to the 2D Boy website can click on the buy button and fill in whatever amount they wish to pay for the physics construction game. It normally retails for $US20, so this is an excellent opportunity to show the developer a little extra love for the enjoyment they’ve brought you. Conversely, you could buy it for as low as a penny, showing the world what an unfeeling cad you really are.

I’m hoping that 2D Boy tracks the prices over the course of the week. Those are the sort of statistics I’d love to spend hours analysing. Perhaps they could send all the penny-purchasers sincere-sounding thank you cards.

No Decapitations, Dismemberment In Censored Aussie Left 4 Dead 2

Gamespot has uncovered what’s been edited out of Left 4 Dead 2 for Australia to earn it an MA15+ classification.

Valve told us yesterday that they had submitted an edited version of Left 4 Dead 2 after the game was previously refused classification due to its high impact violence. Gabe Newell declined to say what had been edited out.

That edited version was awarded an MA15+ rating late yesterday. This morning the Classification Board told Gamespot what had been cut: The report states that the Australian-specific version of Left 4 Dead 2 “no longer contains depictions of decapitations, dismemberment, wound detail, or piles of bodies lying about the environment.”

Valve are also appealing the original classification decision and still hope to release Left 4 Dead 2 in Australia in its original, unedited state. “Our goal is not to ship this second [edited] version,” he said.

Newell told us yesterday that the appeal ruling is expected to be made on October 22.
